Tempe, Ariz. - Carlota Bernad, Ashley Dame, Paige Geiger, Hannah Markiewicz, Maria Moran Miranda and Sofia Zaballa of Illinois Tech women's tennis were named Division III Women's Tennis Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes for the 2023-24 season.

In addition, the Illinois Tech women's tennis team also named as a Division III Women's Tennis ITA All-Academic Team for the 2023-24 season.

To qualify for ITA Scholar-Athletes, an individual must have a grade point average of 3.5 or above (on a 4.00 scale) for the completed academic year.

To qualify for the ITA All-Academic Teams, a program must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale) for the completed academic year.
