Milwaukee, Wis. - A season of success on the court for the Illinois Tech men's tennis team continued off the court for the Scarlet Hawks, as five players were named to the
Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Tennis All-Conference team.
Named to the 2025 Men's Tennis All-NACC team were
Pedro Caroa-Accino Roca,
Alexander Feher,
Pol Dueso Guell,
Hozumi Tada and
Avneet Singh.Â
Roca, a junior Finance major from Las Palmas de Gran Cañaría, Spain, was named as a Singles and Doubles All-Conference selection. This was Roca's first all-conference honor. Roca has played in all 21 Scarlet Hawk matches this season. As the Hawks' number one singles player for a majority of the season, Roca compiled a record of 10-11, while going 6-1 in NACC play during the regular season. Roca went 1-1 in the NACC Men's Tennis tournament, winning his match against MSOE in the championship match 6-4, 0-6, 6-1 to help the Hawks advance to the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships. In doubles play, Roca, who has played primarily with
Hozumi Tada, has gone 11-10, including going 7-0 in NACC play, and 2-0 in the NACC tournament.
Feher, a freshman Aerospace Engineering major from Budapest, Hungary, was named as a Singles and Doubles All-Conference selection. This was Feher's first all-conference honor. Feher has played in 20 of 21 matches so far this season. As the Scarlet Hawks' number two singles player, Feher has gone 11-9 on the season, including a 6-1 record in NACC play, and 2-0 in the NACC Men's Tennis tournament. Feher is 5-15 in #1 doubles play, primarily with doubles partner
Avneet Singh, including 3-4 in NACC play.
Dueso Guell, a sophomore Aerospace Engineering major from Barcelona, Spain, was named as a Singles All-Conference selection. This was Dueso Guell's second all-conference selection. Dueso Guell has played in all 21 matches for the season, compiling a singles record of 16-5, including a perfect 7-0 during the NACC regular season. Dueso Guell had an 8-match winning streak during the regular season. In the NACC tournament, Dueso Guell went 1-1 in singles play. Dueso Guell also went 10-11 in number three doubles play, primarily with doubles partner
Eduardo Lopez. Dueso Guell and Lopez went 1-1 in the conference post-season tournament.
Tada, a freshman Aerospace Engineering major from Sakura, Japan, was named as a Singles and Doubles All-Conference selection. This was Tada's first all-conference selection. In 21 matches played so far this season, Tada has gone 13-8, including a perfect 7-0 during the conference regular season, and 2-0 during the NACC tournament. In number two doubles play, primarily with Pedro Roca, Tada is 11-10, including a 7-0 record in conference regular season play and 2-0 in the NACC tournament.
Singh, a graduate student Marketing Analytics major from Manama, Bahrain, was named as a Doubles All-Conference selection. This was Singh's first all-conference selection. Singh has gone 5-16 in number one doubles play this season, primarily with partner
Alexander Feher, with a 3-4 record during the NACC regular season.Â
