Four Scarlet Hawks Named To CSC Baseball Academic All-District® Team

Greenwood, Ind. - Graduate student John Gori, seniors Cameron Bracewell and Austin Schnurr, and sophomore Philip Bentz of Illinois Tech Baseball were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2026 Baseball Academic All-District® Team for NCAA Division III.

The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

For Bracwell, this is his second Academic All-District® honor, having been honored in the 2024 season.

To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher in class level, carry a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average (out of a scale of 4), and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances OR pitched 35 innings.
