Greensboro, N.C. - The Illinois Tech baseball team was named on Wednesday, July 22nd as one of nearly 500 collegiate programs nationwide to earn the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award.
The award honors programs coached by ABCA members that posted a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the entire 2025-26 academic year.
This is the 7th consecutive year the Scarlet Hawks received the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award. This year's squad boasted 11 players with 4.0 GPAs for this past academic year.
