Chicago, Ill. - Garrison Carter of men's basketball and Claire van Biljon of women's swimming and diving are the recipients of Scarlet Hawk of the Week honors for the week of November 17th.

Carter, a senior forward and Business Administration major from Island Lake, Illinois, had a 22 point effort in the Scarlet Hawks' lone game last week against Lake Forest. Carter was 8-18 from the field for a .444 field goal percentage, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers and 4 free throws while pulling down 4 rebounds.

van Biljon, a graduate student sprinter and Information Technology and Management major from Wildwood, Missouri, was the Scarlet Hawks' top point-producer at the three-day/10-team Phoenix Fall Classic Invite at UChicago this past weekend. van Biljon earned 62 points, including an 8th place finish in the 50 freestyle finals at 23.92, and 16th place in the 100 freestyle finals at 52.61. Both times were season bests.
