Chicago, Ill. - Chloe Churilla and Grace Goodnough of women's basketball are the recipients of Scarlet Hawk of the Week honors for the week of November 24th.
Churilla, a senior forward and Applied Mathematics major from Highland, Indiana, led the team with 16 points in the Scarlet Hawks lone game last week, a 47-41 road win at Rockford to open Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play. Churilla was 5-10 from the field and 6-8 from the free throw line, while pulling down 6 rebounds with 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. Goodnough, a senior forward and Psychology major from Highland, Michigan, was one rebound shy of a double-double in the Hawks win at Rockford on 11/24, finishing the game with 10 points and leading the team with 9 rebounds as the Hawks opened conference play 1-0. Goodnough was 5-8 from the field, had 2 offensive rebounds and 7 defensive rebounds, while adding 3 steals. Goodnough is second on the team in scoring with 10 points per game, and third on the team in rebounds per game at 6.3.
