Milwaukee, Wis. - Antonia Martinez of Illinois Tech Women's Lacrosse earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Student-Athlete of the Week - Offensive honors for Women's Lacrosse for her performance for the Scarlet Hawks last week.

Martinez, a senior attacker and Business and Public Policy major from Atlanta, Georgia, paced the Scarlet Hawks offensively this past week with 16 points(12 goals/4 assists), as the team won back-to-back NACC contests for the first time since the 2022 season. Martinez tallied 4 goals and had 3 assists in the Hawks win over Beloit on Senior Night last Tuesday. In Appleton on Saturday, Martinez tied a career-high with 8 goals while adding 1 assist in the Hawks win at Lawrence. For the week, Martinez fired 17 shots, with 16 on goal for a .941 shots on goal percentage, with 12 goals for a .706 shot percentage. Martinez is 5th in the NACC in goals per game at 2.88 and 4th in points per game at 3.94.
