Chicago, Ill. - John Davis III of men's basketball and Berit Rusing of women's basketball are the recipients of Scarlet Hawk of the Week honors for the week of December 29th.

Davis III, a senior guard and Information Communication & Data Visualization major from Pascagoula, Mississippi, scored 19 points, had 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the Hawks' game against MSOE on Saturday. Davis was 6-14 from the field and 7-9 from the free-throw line, drawing a team-leading 7 fouls against the Raiders.

Rusing, a junior guard and Biology major/Psychology minor from Austin, Texas, paced the Hawks with 14 points, while grabbing 8 rebounds with 1 assist and 1 steal in the Hawks' game against MSOE on Saturday. Rusing was 6-11 from the field and 2-4 from the free-throw line, drawing 5 fouls against the Raiders.
