Chicago, Ill. - Nick Galati of men's basketball and Carson Owens of men's track and field are the recipients of Scarlet Hawk of the Week honors for the week of February 2nd.

Galati, a senior guard and Finance major from Chicago, Illinois, scored a career-high 21 points in the Scarlet Hawks 74-64 home win over Dominican last Wednesday. Galati shot 8-15 from the field for a .533 field goal percentage. For the week, Galati averated 14 points while grabbing 8 rebounds with 4 assists.

Owens, a freshman sprinter and Architecture major from Chicago, Illinois, broke another school record, this time in the men's indoor 60 meter dash. Owens finished with a time of 6.95 seconds at the Keck DIII Select Invitational this past weekend at Illinois Wesleyan. Owens took 2nd place in the race. Owens broke the school record in the men's indoor 400 meters the previous week.
