Goh, Jameson Earn Scarlet Hawk Of The Week Honors

Chicago, Ill. - Samuel Goh of men's volleyball and Olivia Jameson of women's track and field are the recipients of Scarlet Hawk of the Week honors for the week of March 23rd.

Goh, a freshman setter and Marketing Analytics major from Germantown, Maryland, broke the school record for assists in a single match with 57 in the Scarlet Hawks match at St. Norbert this Saturday, averaging 11.4 assists per set in the process. Goh broke the previous record of 51 assists set by Michael Ganczar in March of 2019 vs CUC, and tied by Goh on March 14th in the Hawks' match at Marian. For the week, Goh had 83 assists for an 8.20 assists per set average, to go along with 4 kills, 2 service aces, 15 digs and 5 block assists.

Jameson, a senior high jumper and Architecture major from Cloquet, Minnesota, returned to action for her first meet of the season, and she immediately claimed first-place in the high jump event at the North Central College 1st Chance Invite this past weekend. Jameson claimed first place with a jump of 1.59m, and holds down the top spot on the early NACC women's outdoor leaderboard for the high jump event over teammate Annika McKown.
